Issue 15 of the ESG Insights initiative contains some of the most noteworthy developments in the ESG ecosystem that took place from the 27th of January to the 23rd of February 2023, across the international and Greek spectrum. In this issue, supranational, regulating and corporate developments aiming to achieve a more environmentally and socially sustainable future are examined.
The February Issue contains fifteen unique topics, ranging from the European Central Bank’s decision to press the decarbonization of its corporate portfolio, to the consultation of Fitch Rating on incorporating climate performance in credit scores. Other key developments included clarifications announced by SEC and FCA to review the claims made on ESG investment products, the publication of CDP on the progress of climate transition planning, the recognition of Alpha Bank ESG performance by the FTSE4Good and the inclusion of three Greek corporations to the Bloomberg’s Gender-Equality Index (GEI) of 2023.
